Marks T1’s third consecutive win at Worlds and sixth World Championship, an all-time record
PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 5, 2025) – Comcast Spectacor, a leading sports and entertainment company, congratulates its T1 Entertainment & Sports (“T1”) team on winning its third consecutive League of Legends World Championship on November 9th. T1 clinched the title after a 3-2 victory over South Korea’s KT Rolster at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu, China. The matchup represented a Telecom War for the ages, and the first Telecom War in the World Final. Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, a member of the T1 team, was awarded MVP of the event.
T1, the Philadelphia co-founded global powerhouse, maintains its dominance in the esports industry, with the win marking its sixth world championship – a global record. The championship drew over 6.7 million viewers globally, making it the most watched match of the tournament and contending with last year’s record-breaking viewership event.
“Winning a third consecutive World Championship is an incredible milestone for T1 and a testament to everyone who makes this organization what it is,” said Joe Marsh, Chief Executive Officer, T1 Entertainment & Sports. “Our players and coaches have continued to shine in the brightest moments, showing the discipline, resilience, and teamwork that define T1. “What an incredible evening showing how each victory with T1 is more sweet than the last,” said Tucker Roberts, President of Gaming & Emerging Technology, Comcast Spectacor. “The players and coaches continue to find ways to improve, and I’m so proud of them all. Our General Manager Becker gave me a big hug and told me they couldn’t have dreamed of this type of success. Our head coach, Kkoma, was very adamant all the glory goes to the players. They say Legends Never Die, and so the legend of T1 never will.”
